In this chapter, it is suggested that a student use the acronym IDEAL; which stands for Identify problem, Define goals, Explore possible strategies, Anticipate outcomes, and Look back on your work. This type of problem solving can help a student understand the problem accurately and learn from any mistakes might have done and improve the problems. Another thing that is helpful for a student when solving problems if for the teacher to be creative. The teacher can be creative with solving problem is by thinking more outside the box and restructuring the problem in a new or different way.
