Scientist obtain evidence of meditation over 5,000 years ago although it was never recorded as meditation, but tantras in Indian scriptures is said to be the same technics as meditation ("MEDITATION: History.”). Experts believe that since the beginning of mankind the existences of meditation was practiced (Stilchford). Philip Stilchford states, “It originated from the desire of man to answer all of the important question of why,” and he is right. Over thousands of years meditation has grown and not all meditation is silent not to mention only seated or still. Different types of meditation present themselves all over the world in different culture and religions. Religious meditation is very popular in of course Buddhism, but as well as Taoism, Hinduism, Baha’I Faith, Jainism, Judaism, Sikhism, and the list continues (Chow).
