Of many, the first reason that the Inca were so superior was their architecture. Families were grouped together into Ayllus, which were clans that worked together to support each other. This was very smart because they all could live comfortably working together and supporting each other. Their agricultural methods were also very complex and sophisticated. They build stone walls in the mountains to make flat surfaces and used terrace farming to grow maize, potatoes, squash, beans, peppers, and peanuts. Studies also show that they were able to make and consume the first popcorn. Other ways that the Incas were the best empire included their crime rate. They had an extremely low crime rate because everyone had everything that they needed. Therefore people did not have any need to commit crimes. Also, crimes had severe punishments like being thrown off a cliff or having a limb amputated or an eye gouged out. That also really helped with the crime
