Aldi's products are mainly their own brand which results in low prices. This then in turn attracts those with lower incomes and people who may have limited income to spend. Customers who want quality products at a cheaper price than the average will be enticed to do their grocery shopping in an Aldi store. This is due to basic and human needs for customers to get good quality products at a reduced price.
Spar
Spars target market are for those 'on the go' who need the convenience of having groceries available to fit a busy lifestyle. Spar believes they will always have 'what you need, when you need it', this will suit ones basic and human need of only needing to enter one shop and get what they need.
