Well in this case, the government is requiring all high school students to attend the military or the civilian service program before college. Moreover, This is stripping the basic freedom every individual has on this earth, right out of their little innocent hands . Therefore, the government is violating their rights, according to amendment One . "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." ( U.S constitution, Amendment 1) To clarify, This is stating that we have the freedom of speech , religion, and most of all the way we can choose the way we live our lives! Imagine if your son or daughter has worked hard through school, set high goals for himself/herself, and focused on their future to achieve their desirable outcome. In other words , this would put their dream on hold, because they are forced into something they may not want to be doing for a living!
In Conclusion, Do you really want to have your country rely on some unready, hormonal teens? I don't think so! Therefore, Teens are still trying to figure out who they are, and I don't think it's a good thing to send teens of to war if they don't even know who they are or what they want to be as an adult. After all, Most teens still need to develop more responsibility, make good affective habits for life, and figure out their each individual unique life
