Yes, teens do get distracted easily and they might miss a few things that cause very little damage. “Teenagers who started school earlier in the morning had higher crash rates”(pg 29). Of course, lack of sleep increases the chance of an accident and teens barely get any sleep during school days. Who doesn’t get distracted, not sleep, and make simple mistakes, but in the end, we are all human whom will never be perfect at anything.
The rules should change, the age to drive shouldn’t be raised everything's almost perfect to cause the least amount of accidents on the road. All the complicated laws, driving lessons, and experience of driving helps reduce accidents.
