Everyone envisions, that by voting we have a say in what happens. Although in reality, we have no clue. When people take their vote their outcome may turn out to be anything. None of the citizens can see the actual marking process. In other words, how is that different than a dictatorship. In a dictatorship, one person is selected into power. There is no difference, as ultimately the better one gets chosen. A lot of countries that do have a democratic government are hugely corrupt, as people are forced to vote. If you look at countries in the middle east and Egypt; there was a total of 97% of those who voted for Abdel Fatah al-Sisi. 97% seems oddly a lot for one president. It's true, he viciously tortured and killed thousands of jewish people during the holocaust. An act that could never be forgiven or forgotten. However, that does not make him a bad dictator. Contrary to popular belief, Hitler was the one who took the Nazis that were defeated and rose them up and created an intense armed military. The man was able to manipulate people to fight against all odds and win a handful of battles. Alluding back to my primary considerations about human nature, was the fact that humans are very courageous. He brought back the strength from many germans.
