The deck of ninety cards has a job title on one side and a description on the other site. This card sort is effective for use with clients who are unclear about career choices. Unlike a qualitative assessment, MOCS provides immediate results and teaches individuals about how they think and feel about particular occupations. As counselors, we vary the card sort to learn different pieces of information about how the client conceptualizes their role and desires within the workforce. Clients can sort cards in accordance to which jobs sound interesting, which jobs are unfamiliar, and which jobs they would like to have. The flexibility of the card sort provides additional information. This will be a useful tool to expose our clients to careers they may have been unaware
