Tung-Cheng Tsai, known as Leo, is the son of Tai Shain Cheng and Yen Gem Tsai. He also has a sister living back at home with his parents. Leo is a foreign exchange student at Paton-Churdan and he is from Taiwan. While staying in Churdan Leo stayed with Eddie Lusk and Jolene Killeen. Leo enjoyed living with his host family while residing in Churdan. One of the most exciting things that Leo saw and experienced was snow. The hardest subject while attending school here was American History. In return, the easiest subject was Physical Education. He also has a younger sister that lives back in his home country with his parents. Haksu is a foreign exchange student from South Korea. While staying in Chudan, he lived with Eddie Lusk and Jolene Killeen. Haksu enjoyed living with his host family and thought it was exciting and interesting visiting their relatives. In his opinion, biology was the hardest subject in school. Likewise, geometry was the easiest subject for him in school. The memory that Haksu will remember the most is playing basketball and the entire basketball team. After Haksu returns back to South Korea, his plans are to go back to high school. Haksu also plans later in his future to return back to the United States some day. There was nothing that was particularly hard for him to adapt to when he arrived in Iowa. The easiest thing to adapt to was school and studying. Haksu’s favorite thing about the United States is baseball. The thing he misses most from South Korea is his family. He did not have a particular favorite teacher, he said they were all about the same. Based off of his experiences of being a foreign exchange student, he would encourage other students to one day become a foreign exchange student. Even if Haksu could go back in time from before he came, he would still have came to Churdan to be a foreign exchange student. Since he did not get to pick where he was placed to be a foreign exchange student, he had little prior knowledge of Iowa.
