In terms of satirical-ness, Kingsman was satirical and ironic while U.N.C.L.E was not. Kingsman was a movie which made fun of the spy genre in the form of recruiting a boy named Gary and gave him professional spy training to fight against a super villain who is rich enough to rule the world with just his wealth alone. U.N.C.L.E portrays the basics of a typical spy film where the protagonist stops the antagonist from ruling or destroying the world in a heroic and professional way. Also, both movies are set in different time. Kingsman sets in the current world where everyone has access to smart phones and internet. In U.N.C.L.E, the movie was set during the 60’s which was when the Cold war was in its height and when there was constant tension between the two major superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union. On the contrary, the protagonist in both films uses different types of technology and gadgets. Kingsman uses a wide array of gadgets ranging from umbrella which could transform into a gun or shield against bullets to a pair of black leather shoes that stealth a blade coated poison. U.N.C.L.E was set in an earlier time period thus the only gadget that were abundant in the film where tracking devices and voice recording bugs which both factions, CIA and KGB, uses.
