Attending college gives one so much more potential than those who did not attend. College graduates acquire the higher paying jobs. The New York Times tells stories of how Kyle Bishops friends with worse degrees have better jobs. Kyle states "it's more about luck than anything else". College students have trouble paying off student loans. Kyle has a student loan debt of over $70,000. overall, College isn't worth it. It cost too much money and doesn't even garentee a job.
Another reason college may not be worth it, is jobs are being replaced by technology. Job makers cut costs by using technology to do jobs. "Technology is eating jobs"
There is a few reasons why college would be worth it. The jobs being replaced are in higher demand and the only way to obtain them are with a high education. Technology is replacing jobs because not as many people have the education to do them. We need to fix American education.
Not all can agree on college. Some choose to not go, due to fear or no money. However, the college could educate on how to be successful to earn more money, and it could be inspiring. To come from a poor life, and work your way up to a life full of success is a reward in itself.
