This is why topnotch principles and teachers are the foundation for a educated and productive youth. In “The Change Leader,” by Michael Fullan, the idea of strong leadership skills being a critical virtue that all adults that are educating children should have and that powerful school leaders are key to a successful education reform. Fallan adds that hiring top performing principles and gratifying good principle performance is immensely important and providing strong principle guidance becomes very rewarding. I strongly agree with the idea of starting an education reformation with powerful and effective principles and teachers because it provides a trustworthy relationship between administration, parents, and students. As students get older and are capable of decision making, guidance in the right direction is sometimes needed to take the next step in life. Having adults advise students throughout their high school years to prepare them for life after graduation is discussed in the article, “The Role of Advising in Personalizing the Secondary Experience,” by Tom Vander Ark, Mary Ryerse, and Bonnie Latham. The authors talk about the student’s connection between adults and their peers, allowing students to learn more about themselves in an academic and personal way. In the article “Zeroing on Impact,” by Susan Colby, Nan Stone, and Paul Carttar, the financially responsible nonprofit organizations are expressed as not aiming their prospective toward communities and schools. Colby, Stone, and Carttar mention that most schools do not have relatable mission statement as the organizations causing them to not direct their and help towards the success of students. The authors note that most nonprofit organizations are forced to reduce student programs and staff members which becomes a downfall for both the community and society. An upcoming idea for financing our school systems is discussed in the article, “The Role of Brand in the Nonprofit Sector,” by Natalie Kylander and Christopher Stone. Kylander and Stone talk about the benefit of brands being used as a fundraising tool for schools. The authors explain the Nonprofit Brand IDEA structure which includes the four concepts of brand integrity, democracy, ethics, and affinity. I am convinced that with the financial help of nonprofit organizations and even nonprofit brands, teachers and students will find it easier and less challenging to strive for a successful future which would result in more quality organizations and
