Integrative Psychotherapy is important because it sums affective, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological systems within one person.
Furthermore, all of the forms of psychotherapy have lots of similarities to compare them with. They all have to deal with people’ behaviors. All approaches people in a supportive manner and focuses on people consciousness. They all have the most common goal and it is to solve people problems. It’s done psychologically and not medically. They all have to deal with one’s responsibilities, personalities. Also they are all learned and practiced to have good behaviors at the end. They all focus on how patients think and behave around others and to develop good habits.
Finally, there are lots of differences in the forms of psychotherapy. Cognitive only focuses on emphasis on person’s thoughts and self-behaviors like depression, loneliness, panic, fears, and stuff in that concept. Behavioral, which is self explanatory, only focuses on changing bad habits to good ones as well as developing abnormal and normal behaviors and removes difficult behaviors.
