When it comes to the Facebook “Friendship” is breached down into five different categories: Close friends, casual friends, acquaintances, romantic partners/interests, and outsiders. Close friends are identified as both offline and online relationship in which one can keep in touch with each other, whether Facebook is just an online site is a wonderful site that helps people maintain their close friends and their relationship with them by being able to communicate if the individuals are in different time zones or different places. Casual friends are described as a friend that one generally see them all the time, this is a friend in which one stays as friends but there is no other communication farther than a simple conversation. Acquaintances can be associated with an individual with whom you did not interact, but you met once. Romantic partners/ interests are friendships in which involves the girlfriend/ boyfriend change status, this relationship is the one that makes or breaks most people. And lastly outsiders, it can be described as not a friend relationship but as a non-assigned label, this can include teachers, bosses and even relatives that you do not have a lot of communication …show more content…

Family relational maintenance must do with the communication that generally the family has, for the most part family communication is the first group in which a child can feel safe and not be self-conscious about what he/she says or if he/she said it wrong. Families are there to teach and to be able to guide children on how to communicate and what are some strategies or behaviors for a positive outcome. Family Communication Patterns (FCP) can be described as a preterminal pattern a family follows when having a conversation, parents teach their children on how the conversation orientation their child can take when talking to others and conformity orientation, they can give a sense of what kind of information that the children can share or would be polite to do
