The rise in population demands foods at wider level. The population growth rate in Pakistan and other developing countries is very high. The economic access is also necessary element with the availability of food which is being damaged by the food inflation. Affordable prices of food items and its equal availability to all individuals ensures food security. The unequal distribution of income in Pakistan hampers the equity in food distribution as rich can afford variety of food and poors lives from hand to mouth even without regular access to critical food items.
