Elementary Education is a profession that is very closely related to English Education. Kindergarten and elementary school students spend most of their day in one classroom. Teachers may escort students to assemblies, to classes taught by other teachers, such as art or music, or to recess. While students are away from the classroom, teachers plan lessons, grade assignments, or meet with other teachers and staff.(“Elementary Education”) Like teaching in secondary education, elementary education requires a bachelor’s degree and a teaching license. Teachers in elementary schools often teach a wide variety of subjects to one class, but some teachers specialize in a couple of subjects and teach several different classes of
