The group consisted of my usual attendees, my friends Elaine ___, Liza ___, Zachary __, and Harrison___. There were some other faces among the group, Mary, Jeremey, Emily, and Alex, people who just need help with that section. Elaine moved her bag out of my usual seat, so I could sit down. Adjusting my glasses, I pull my textbook out of my bag, “my alarm didn’t wake me up, I’m so sorry,” I look at everyone “Now, where are we?”
Jeremey spoke up, “we’re going over page 391. The one with the Biofeedback close up.” I nodded my head in response.
“Well looking back at the previous pages we see that Biofeedback can be a great way to help control anxiety or help alleviate stress in some people.” Liza raised her hand.
“But I still don’t understand why that is, just seeing your Biological responses can’t be a way to alleviate stress.” She placed her head on the desk, “I’m so confused.”
I laughed, “it’s okay I’ll explain it. The Biofeedback results don’t lower your stress levels, but it allows a person to recognize feelings of stress so they can develop effective techniques that will lower things like heart rate or blood pressure. All connected to stress. Does that make
