Technology plays a large factor in the category of body image. One way that Americans are affected is when they see others on social media sites. They are dissatisfied with what they see because they reflect that upon themselves in a negative way. They look at these people with an unrealistic, unthoughtful realization. These realizations are made by many Americans, most might not notice that they are doing so. Social media and other forms of technology poses a negative effect on a society as a whole in terms of body image. The youth is the future of not only America, but the rest of the world. Although technology is performing more and more for the people, there will always be a need for human labor. With this being said, the youth is crucial to the future. The youth needs to be informed the correct way, knowing and understanding the way technology persuades society.
