Hygiene factors do not directly impact on the career motivation, but absence of hygiene factors can lead to the discontented work environment. Strength of hygiene factors are: reduce the psychological pain from the environment, short-term effects, repetitive, and cannot achieve financially. Motivation factors such as achievement, recognition, advancement, the possibility of personal growth and responsibility directly impact on the career performance when they are presented.
