If Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders became the next president of the United States, it would hugely be shocking, due to the fact that he is not a normal candidate, as he is referred as a socialist. Therefore, whether it's on campaign finance or income taxes, things are really going to change. Sanders is a socialist, and by winning the presidency, he would be the first socialist president to rule the United States of America. I am for Sanders and agree on his ways and proposals of ruling the nation.

The bill “College for All Act” would make college available for those who can’t afford to pay for an education. “Sanders focuses on the potential benefits of this big idea because low income students could find college doors opened to them and all students could graduate without debt.”(Fahrenthold) Those students who graduate with debt are mostly those who belong to the low income class, which only means that making college free would really benefit the low income class and the economy. “We live in a highly-competitive global economy and if our economy is to be strong, we need the best-educated work force in the world” (Shramm) stated Bernie Sanders on the necessity of the bill. Sanders statement is very accurate. You cannot have the best educated work force in the world when many individuals are not given the chance of a higher education because they can’t afford college. “Sanders and his $18 trillion dollar proposal comes from things that the people are already paying for in taxes” (Waldman). Sanders wants to change the way we pay for taxes. For example, today college is paid for by the students and what Sanders would do to guarantee free college tuition would be for it to be paid the same way that we pay for roads, parks, schools, and other things through our taxes. “Sanders also wants to spend $1 trillion over ten years on infrastructure” (Waldman). It will create new jobs and has it benefits over time. Republicans believe that by a higher tax rate on the wealthy will delay the growth of the economy. Yet, “Economists have pointed out that post-war American growth has been higher during periods with much higher top marginal tax rates...”(Covert) Taxing the wealthy at a 90 percent would help to lower the unfairness of wealth and everyone’s wellbeing would improve, equally for both the rich and poor. Many other Republican presidential candidates have also agreed with Sanders proposal and have backed up his
