I know I don’t eat nearly enough of these food groups. Dark and bright vegetables are really healthy was well. I have tried to cook cabbage and leafy greens, but it never turns out right and does not taste as good as my mothers. Hopefully I’ll get better at cooking it so I could have more of a variety when choosing what vegetable were going to have that day. I also learned that artificial sugars are not good for you. I use to think sweet and low was healthier for you but I was wrong. It also can lead to health problems if consumed on a regular basics.
After taking this nutrient class I now know the things I need to add to my diet and the things I need to eat less of. Just because it looks good does not mean it is healthy for you. I will continue to improve my eating habits and make better choices in choosing what foods to eat. I am very thankful I decided to take this class and other classes here at
