As an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley, my experiences working as a caseworker in drop-in clinics for the low-income community allowed me to see that the best way to address complexities such as homelessness is to be creative, dynamic and attentive. My time spent in Kenya working with Voluntary Testing Centers and a Non-Profit Organisation rehabilitating street children, affirmed my belief of the necessity for quality healthcare access to all, especially for the communities that are the most vulnerable.
