The father and son are usually the happiest people at the game. You can find them sitting excitedly in their seats with a glove on their hand. This tradition also includes a drink and the classic ballpark hotdog. My favorite part of this group is being able to watch the father pass down his love of the sport down to his son, as he’s teaching his son the rules and plays during the game.
Next, another common one is the people that wear irrelevant sports gear. These people maybe have been dragged to the game by either their spouse, family, or friend. They will show up to a game wearing gear supporting neither team but for a completely different team or even sport. You can often find them in hockey, basketball, or football jerseys. We often wonder if these people are lost and can tell by watching them they may be thinking the same thing too. Why wear a jersey to a game for a team that’s not even playing?
Now the worst type of fan, the winning team fan. There’s never a doubt that you wont find one of these people. They’ll show up to the game bragging about how great their team is and how they will beat yours, but once the middle of the game comes along you’ll hear them in the back cheering for your team.
