Anxiety disorders are a category of different mental disorders known by feelings of anxiety, or worry and fear.
Having anxiety is not always a bad thing; it’s a normal part of daily life. Everyone faces and goes through at least a little of anxiety. It could include having to present in front of people or even taking a test. Anxiety disorders involve more than just worry and fear for a little while. Someone who has anxiety disorders the anxiety does not go away and it may also get worse. The feelings that come with anxiety disorder can become an obstacle to daily life activities. There are different types of anxiety disorders that include, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder.

Anxiety disorders can be treated and are usually treated with psychotherapy, medication, or with both.
Psychotherapy or also known as talk therapy can help people with anxiety disorder. For this method to work the psychotherapy has to be directed directly to the person's specific anxieties and going for his or her needs. The person may go through discomfort of thinking about facing his or her feared situations, but this can be just temporary.
Another way to treat or help with anxiety disorder is with medication. But, medication can not and will not cure anxiety disorder. The medications will most often relieve it's symptoms and can only be prescribed my a doctor. Medications are usually used as an initial treatment for anxiety disorders. It is common for patients to have both the medication and psychotherapy to treat anxiety disorder, they may have better outcomes than patients that only use one method of these
