I jolted awake to the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the time, it’s 8:00 P.M. Then, I see it’s my mom calling. “Hello? Valerie?” “Hey Mom, is everything okay?” “Yes, everything is perfect, I just wanted to tell you that we’ve set the date for our wedding!” says Mom as she lets out this deafening squeal. I jerked the phone away from my ear, cringing. “Oh my gosh Mom, finally, that’s so amazing! When is it?” I reply. “It’s going to be on April 26th. I need you to come back to Garvin after Christmas to help me with the wedding plans and get fitted for your dress.
