In Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare in the late 1500s, there are many characters who are responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. In this romantic tragedy, Friar Laurence and Friar John are the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. Some reasons include the marriage of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet’s “death” plan, and the letter not being delivered to Romeo.
