The Connecticut compromise was an agreement that was formed during the constitutional convention. This agreement grants states equal representation in the senate, and the House of Representatives. It was a result of a disagreement of how much representation each state should have within congress. Before the Connecticut compromise an agreement was finally agreed upon when delegate roger Sherman suggested a two chambered congress. This resulted in the House of Representatives. This all happened before and as a result of the Connecticut compromise.

The bill of rights purpose was to technically guarantee the rights that were written. Obviously, that was not always the case, but the bill of rights made it harder for the government to oppress you. Overall it does a good job protecting your rights as a person. It protects all citizens no matter religion or race.
What problems prompted the calling of the Constitutional Convention
The constitutional convention was brought together due to the articles of confederation creating a weak national government. The government was unable to deal with the nations problems and had many other problems. Some of the problems were, government couldn't tax, no national army, no national courts and so on. Those problems led to other problems such as, very few law getting passed, the government could not operate well, and with no leadership nothing gets done. All these problems led to the calling of the constitutional convention.
