The Bible reminds us in 2 Timothy 2:22, “so flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.” We are told to flee when temptation is nearby, and call upon the Lord. One example where we see someone fleeing from temptation is seen in the life of Joseph in Genesis 39. Joseph was made an overseer of Potiphar’s house. James 5:16 reminds us to confess our sins to one another.
