more not so used term mercy killing, means to take deliberate action of intention of ending a life to
relieve suffering (Nordqvist, 2015). You can’t feel the pain and unpleasantness of that pain. Pain so
terribly horrible that they want to be put out of misery and still have some dignity. Where it only leave
them with the choice of suffering or taking the pain away. The little bit of dignity that they have is all
they want. To be free of the suffering and be reborn in a new way without pain. You should want to
have the good memories of you love ones, not the ones of them suffering. Keeping those memories

You can’t tell what their feeling, even with all the medication over time the patient.
Also after a while the medication can cause damage or even addiction. This can cause even more pain to
the person that already in so much pain. Everyone should be treated as equal and have free will to do
whatever they want when an event like this happens. Would you want to go through the suffering some
There are many laws stating at euthanasia is illegal in the state or country. Some states have
certain laws such as the “Death with dignity Act” which is in Act in the state of Oregon ( 'Death With
Dignity ' Laws by State). This certain law says you must be expected to die within the next six months of
living. Another thing is you have to be of at least eighteen to be able to use assisted suicide. Last
requirement is follow certain consent guidelines such as two oral and one written request from your

The last and final reason I think euthanasia should be legal is because it’s a quality of life. By quality of
life I mean only the patient is really aware of what it is like to experience intractable suffering
(Nordqvist, 2015). The definition of euthanasia is “good death” or to “die well”. It could also be taken as
the act of inducing a good death. It is said that the best way of approaching the quality of life is by
measuring the extent to which people 's happiness requirements are met. The measurement of someone
is something you can’t put into other people’s hands. The quality of their life is what they work hard for
and how they choose to go should be their choses. The person suffering, if he/she thinks it their time to
go then it they should have that choses. I know when I get old I’m not going to want some doctor
prolonging my life when I’m in serious pain. I mean think about it would you want to suffer in the time
left you have on earth. That’s why euthanasia should be legal to give the people that are in pain the
dignity of leaving this world in peace. Prolonging a person in such pain should not be legal. I
