Once the high priest told his men to seize Jesus, Peter didn’t not like that. So Peter took the sword from one of the men and cut off his ear. All the men were astonished at what Peter had done. Jesus then touches the man’s ear and heals him as if his ear was never cut off. After fixing his ear they arrest Jesus and take him to the high priest. Then after Pontius let the people decide what should be Jesus’s punishment. The people all said “crucify him!” Jesus was then instructed to leave. His punishment would to be flogged and crucified. I believe the soldiers mocked and tortured Him. Made a crown of thorns and placed it on his head. They even gave him a robe to wear just to mock Him, then took it back. After they proceeded with the crucifixion, they had Jesus carry his own cross while whipping him if he stopped or went slow.
