Over time technology all over the world has transformed, particularly the United States. The United States has had tremendous advancements in the technology that they use to go to war with and technology that is used on the everyday basis. Nuclear warfare was greatly developed over the decades to help a country in the time of war. Before World War II no country had ever really spoken about the use of nuclear weapons and how they could virtually destroy a country. In the United States many Americans have lost their sense of nationalism that many had in early decades. In earlier years the American citizens supported America and felt that it was the the best country at everything. In the 21st century many people don’t even stand up for the pledge of allegiance. Even ten years after the September 11 terrorist attack at the World Trade Center in New York the country is still facing the devastation as the US continues to fight the War on Terror in the middle east. Many Americans feel as though the war on terror is hurting the American economy and unnecessary troops are fighting a stagnant war.
Although though there has been changes in technology, politics, and culture there has been many continuities as well. There are many similarities in the technology, government, and culture, there are only small adjustments that were made to be more compatible with society
