The United States Government allows animals to be shocked, burned, drugged, starved, brain damaged, poisoned, and many other things all for a simple test where alternatives could be used, but are not required.

There are many levels of classification of organisms. Organisms are classified based on these groups, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species.
