To begin with, learning how to become Independent was a necessity at that point in my life. I still remember as if It was yesterday when I moved in with my high school friend. I knew had to go live in a place where going to school was going to be easy for me. I had no where else to go and she was kind enough to take me in her Apartment with her family. I did not even have luggages or a car. All of my clothes were packed in plastic bags. I would always wake up early to ride with my friend to school. As week’s passed I knew I had to pay bills at some point. Therefore I obtained a full time job to support myself. Finally, I knew it was a good feeling I was not used to good feelings so it was hard for me to figure it out. In my head knew that I was able to accomplish anything and I realized that my level of maturity was not where it was a couple months back. When all I was able to see was a dark tunnel. Everyone was proud to see me prepare for graduation. Even the principal at McGavock shook my hand and said, “What you went threw was not easy and I wish I would have known sooner, consider yourself a warrior who just won a battle.” I began to understand that people where proud of me and Knew that everything I went threw had taught me maturity. I grew up before my eyes and graduated. Proudly I can say that if anything I learned out of it all maturity was the most important
