The context of the game is based during the time the Epic of Gilgamesh took place. Ancient Mesopotamia around 2100 – 1400 BC.
Setting:
A fictional land called Arkadia that is based upon ancient Mesopotamia and Greece.
Environment:
Ancient times in a fictional land based off of Mesopotamia and Greece. There are seven main cities that are roughly based on the ancient cities of Uruk, Akkad, Assur, Babylon, Nimrud, Nineveh, and Persopolis. Each city has a temple divoted to one of the seven major gods and godesses. Challenges and Strategies:
1) Find a way to get to the king of Uruk inside the palace after the tournament. Strategies: A) Try to sneak in without getting caught B) Fight your way through
2) Humbaba the giant and the supplies for the city of Uruk. Gilgamesh needs resources to rebuild his city so he and Kailee go to the Cedar forest to get some lumber. While there they discover the Giant Humbaba is terrifying the workers and stealing their supplies. In order to get the supplies back the player must defeat Humbaba.
