Introduction
Acquired diseases particularly those which lead us to forthcoming death is something we humans are attempting to avoid in life. Acquired diseases refer to such conditions that are due to environmental factors. Because of the developing economy, humans also fall into the danger of being closer to demise. Development in technology and economy also has its downside. It resulted for the people to actually support processed foods with excessive additives and preservatives which is actually bad for one’s health. It has also restricted people to do activities which were usually done. Scope and Delimitation The study will be conducted to identify the population, eating habits and physical activities of Grade 12 students who are having an unhealthy lifestyle, specifically the obese and overweight. The obese and overweight will be separated in data gathering procedure and the age of the individuals will be also included in the study. The factors that the researchers will include in this study are the eating habits and physical activities regardless of their certain medications and the genetic factors. It refers to having a lot of excess flesh or body fat in your body: (Merriam-Webster Dictionary).Operationally, it is an oily substance, it comes from the excess foods we eat.
Metabolism. It is the chemical processes that occur within a living organism in order to maintain life. Operationally, it is the chemical process of one’s body in order to utilize consumed energy.
Obese. It means very fat in a way that it is not good to one’s health (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Operationally it is a person who accumulated too much body fat that causes them to have a portly body.
Overweight. It implies weighing more than is normal, essential, or allowed particularly having more body weight than is viewed as typical or healthy for one's age or build. Operationally, refers to a person who acquired excess weight, higher than normal but not too much like obese.
Physical Activities. It is characterized as any body movement that demands the work of muscles and use of energy. Operationally, it means any activities which require extent use of the body.
Students. It is a person who goes to school, college or university to study. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Operationally, this refers to the respondents of this
