Dionysus traveled around the world so that he could find out different ways to make wine. Dionysus looked very well maintained with his wreath of ivy upon his head and he was holding a staff that had leaves of ivy and a pine cone sitting onto of it the staff was called "thyrsos". Dionysus gave the power to turn everything into gold for Midas and he also took it back from him.
