Similarities: Dyad 1, the two males, and dyad 2, the two females did not touch at all thought out by observation.
Differences: Interestingly, dyad 1, the two males, smiled and laughed more than dyad 2, the two females. In dyad 3, the male was more touchy than the female.
2. Compare and contrast the nonverbal behaviors you observed in the same-sex and female –male dyads.
Dyad 1, the two males, nonverbal behavior’s displayed that they were both enjoying each other’s company, they both smiled and it appeared as if they were talking about something funny because they both laughed numerous times during my observation. Both Dyad 1 and 2 did not touch at all throughout my observation. However, Dyad 3, the male and female, who appeared to be a couple, did touch three times, and two of the three times it was the male who touched the female. The Dyad 3 female appeared to be more laid back, where dyad 3 male appeared to be more outgoing, as he smiled and touched the female
