Prevention and Treatments
Diaper rashes can be treated at home, unless it persists, a pediatrician would have to have a look at it. But first try the tips below;
• The baby must remain dry always. Stool and urine are the main cause of diaper rash, therefore the baby’s body must always remain dry, in case the baby gets moistened with urine or stool you have to change the diaper.

• Apply jellies or creams in order to avoid the baby’s skin getting into contact with the feces or the urine, this should be done gently, but if there is any sign of broken skin, then do not apply the jellies or the creams since the healing will be slow.
• You can let the baby drink more fluids, this would help lower the urine concentration, making it less irritating and so even in case of a moistened diaper the rashes might not be so severe. But avoid concentrated drinks, they might just make the urine more concentrated.
