My first set of memories comes from many hours of yard work. Last summer, my father and I started to clear out our back yard. We used to have a spot in the yard that was covered in trees, and vines. I know that everyone has a yard, but I have only found one that is right for me. With my animals, tractors, and the hard labor that was put into transforming my yard, I believe that these are the reasons why I consider this my personal place. After many hours of labor, removing trees, and putting in a fire pit, I have come to appreciate this place being in my life. With my animals being there as well, it makes my yard much better, because I can go out and relax with them, or let them play. And when I have nothing else to do, I can always just take a few steps out the door into a world of safety and comfort and relaxation, where I can spend time with my animals, or restoring my tractors.
