My house will be covered in those overlapping shingles (?) of exposed wood - I’m not quite sure what they’re called but I’ve always …show more content…
The kitchen.
Fairly straightforward. My main concern here was to have the stove near a sink - accidents are a frequent occurrence with me. 4a = sink, 4b = oven/stove, 4c = fridge.
5. A rather wide hallway.
A wide hallway with French doors at the end to let in a lot of natural light - no dark hallways with fluorescent lighting for me, thank you! I would probably hang a lot of art on the kitchen-side wall.
6. Bathroom.
Small downstairs bathroom equipped with coat hooks for coming in through the back door on a rainy day.

8. Living room.
A small living room, to be centered around the fireplace (which will be the kind that works with both gas and natural logs, depending on your mood).
9. Landing/hallway
A rather large and open landing. No particular plans for this space, though I admit I foresee it being lined with boxes.
10. Bathroom.
A rather grand bathroom with a claw foot bathtub. There will also be a shower (in the corner).
