Demographics: With an estimated 61,332 people in the City of Utica according to the U.S Census Bureau, the city has seen a decrease in residency since the formal census conducted in 2010 (Census Bureau). Even with the estimated decrease in population, the city is home to a multitude of races and ethnicities immigrating to the U.S from various countries around the world. An influx of foreign born residents from Burma, Cambodia, and Somalia populate our community leading to a diverse mix of cultures and attitudes toward heal and wellness. The city has a mix of genders and ages, with the average age of individuals living the area being 36 years old (City-data.com). The city has evolved into a multicultural community having a variety of business, places of worship, and organizations.

Health Services: A multitude of public clinics can be found in the City of Utica. Two public health clinics are available in the area, accepting low income patients and those under insured.
