Politeness is defined as behaving in a socially acceptable way with proper manners and etiquette. Politeness is an inbuilt quality of human life which human beings have from very beginning in variant degree
Situation
James is a polite children, who would greet every one he meet with a smile, regardless of their age. Since he was in a young age, he was taught to talk in a polite way
In the school, he always respect and be polite to everyone that he has met. He would put on a smile whenever he pass by a teacher and he would offer to help when the teacher is carrying books. However, he would not ask for any return. During the classes, whenever he has any questions, he would first raise up hand and ask the question after gaining approval.
One day, James would like to borrow a novel from his best friend and they had this conversation. “Hi, Calvin, may I borrow your novel? I can wait if you are still reading it. Calvin: ‘Sure, can!’ James: ‘Thank you so much Calvin, I will return it back to you within this 5 days.
