When I first saw the deli I thought to myself “there’s not going to be much here besides a bunch of meat and cheese”. However all of that changed when I walked in the front door, as soon as I opened the door I was overwhelmed by the smell of Lasagna, Sausages,tomato sauce, Meatballs, and so much more.
Even though Danielle's deli is an Italian deli I thought that it would just have Italian meats and cheeses. But I was wrong there is so much more than Meat and cheese and there is so much more than just Italian food. I imagined cases full of Italian meat, Italian sausage, and Italian cheese.
But the boring menu that I imagined turned out to be a variety of hot or cold salads, freshly made and customized sandwiches, freshly delivered breads, handmade desserts and much more. Besides being an Italian deli it is also a family business which opened it’s doors in Brookfield Wisconsin back in 1997 and has over fifty years of experience in the food industry. The meatballs were so good, they were huge and came both covered in sauce and with extra sauce. The sausage for also very tasty, kind of spicy and also came with extra sauce.
