I would use an observational study for the purpose of show interaction while the children are playing with each other. It will include the measures of behavior durations and it will show the amount of time the children are engaged in a specified behavior. I believe and estimation will be used to measure time. When using the observation method for the research it can be complex if not conducted correctly. I don't think a conclusions can be made based on just the observations of the individual being observed. yes there are ethical concerns because the subjects being observed are unaware they are being watched. Due to this fact they may display behavior such as touching, kissing, emotions that they wouldn't if they knew they were being watched.

Because using the true experiment research method will provide a control group of research participants that do not receive the experimental treatment. You get more accurate data and it is used to support or refutes the hypothesis using statistical analysis. Also using the true experiments method won't give the researcher the opportunity to manipulate or change the variable to affect the outcome of the variables that are being studied. One ethical concern would be neither participant know now about the other research participating and weather or not the identity of the participating will be release with the results at the end of the
