John quickly turned on the light and looked where the sound came from. A few minutes later he found it on the floor by his desk, the book. Then, without and thought he opened the book and started to read, but by the second page, he was interrupted by a folded crumbled piece of paper that flew out of his book. John then got the same eerily feeling from earlier, only now it felt much worse. His body felt like needles were being struck into his body over and over again. He knew getting this book was a bad idea, but at the same time wondered what the feelings inside his body are trying to tell him. He started to unfold the paper that revealed a message that said, "Meet me at the abandoned house by the library at midnight. The place where you got this book from or you'll be sorry!" After John read this the eerily feeling was overpowered with the feeling of being scared. He then called his trusted friend, Mary. He told her about the situation, but he found it strange that she was awake and so happy the whole time he was talking her. Then she said to meet her there and they'll do it together. As time ticked by, John felt more scared as he watched the time, 11:58 pm. Only two minutes left till his time. He was scared to death. Then he saw Mary, she was wide awake. They entered the house, then all feelings started to hover over his shoulders. Slowing him with every move they wouldn't go away, then John knew he wasn't going to leave this alive. Once inside Mary started coughing and choking, begging for him to help, but Mary never did. He trusted Mary and would save her, but this is not the Mary he sees any other day. Then, she stands up and stares at him without a sound. John then figures out why he is here, Mary, she planned for this to happen, but why. He couldn't believe it, the one he trusted, now turned and was going to kill him. John quickly pushes Mary and bolts to the door, but she is too fast and runs and jumps on his back. She reaches for his neck, but then John swings back into the wall. Mary losing balance falls and hurts her arm, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She still has enough power to push John to the floor, but was interrupted by a another man. He slams the door wide open. Holding the gun, he points to her head. First shot, miss. Second shot, a hit, right in her arm. She doesn't show the pain, but notices the warning and backs away slowly. The man, in a very deep voice says, "Never speak of this to no one!" John ran all the way home and never spoke about it until his
