Darkness engulfs her and soon the light finds her. The elevator’s door unlocks and the sun’s warm embrace greets her. Athena’s eyes widen and her mouth opens. The sunlight causes her eyes to burn but she can’t allow herself to close them. She can see Sanctuary in the distance. It looks like it’s falling apart. Some houses are completely collapsed in while others are barely standing. She spots her house and immediately begins to run down the hill towards it. Deacon watches Athena emerge from a distance with a pair of binoculars. When he was messing around with the terminal, he realized that someone purposely deactivated everyone else’s life support and left Athena the sole survivor.
