for places nearby to have fun and suddenly, we found whale watching in Rey harbor,
Portsmouth. I was so excited and looking for more information about it. Then I found their
prices, timings and availability on online and booked the tickets for the next day afternoon at 2’o
clock. On Saturday I woke up early, prepared food and had lunch and we started at 12:15pm to
whale watching which took nearly 1hr drive from my home. Once we reached the harbor, parked

We slowly moved forward and suddenly we found one whale far from our boat which
is quietly swimming on the surface of the water. The captain turned the boat towards the whale
and stopped about 10-15 feet distance from it. There are different types of whales we can find in
the ocean, but, the one we saw is humpback whale is about 12-16 m feet long and 36,000 kg
weight. It is just being on the surface for 5 -10 minutes and then it went in the water. Again it
came back after 20-30 minutes to breathe which made me much more interesting. From this trip I
came to know many facts about humpback whale, for example, they do not drink salt water like
humans.
Around 4’o clock, I can say it was the best moment in this trip and I was emotionally
touched by heart. Like humans, even female whale do feeding for their babies which is the best
scene I experienced. Baby whale is jumping out of the water, which is known as breaching and it
is enjoying the evening in the cool weather. Mother feeding the baby for 10-15 minutes and then
both jumping into the water showing tail to us. Finally, after having so much fun with whale
watching and captured lots of pictures on camera we returned back around 5:30 PM to
