The Inuit, Haida and Iroquois have a lot of things in common. I'm going to talk about some of them. The First thing i'm going to talk about is is, all three tribes live in Canada. The Inuit live in an area comprising a large part of Northern Earth including, Northern Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and Siberia. The Haida lived in a narrow section of coastal land stretching from Washington state to Northern B.C. and into Alaska. The Iroquois lived in a forest kind of environment with lots of rivers and lakes. They all hunt animals and use weapons to hunt. The Inuit hunted with spears and would hunt The Hooded Seal, Narwhal, Walrus, and Polar bears. The Haida don’t hunt as much as the other tribes, but they catch a lot of salmon using Fishing Nets and Harpoons. The Iroquois didn’t hunt much but they would plant crops like corn. All three tribes made art to portray different things. The Inuit made carvings to portray Arctic animals and spirits. Their carvings were made from stone, bone, and ivory. All three tribes have housing, but the Inuit housing is different from the others. The Inuit have housing known as Igloos. Since they live in an Arctic environment they make Igloos out of packed ice and snow. The inuit lived in a cold environment ,so they hunted the Hooded Seal, walrus, and Polar Bear.
