Often time’s people have no symptoms and many people will not even know that they have it. This is why it is so important to check your blood pressure regularly. DASH stands for the dietary approach to stop hypertension. It regulates several lifestyle factors than can reduce hypertension on. This includes reducing sodium intake, increase certain vitamins, and maintaining a healthy body weight. Unfortunately once I get older my risk will increase. Since I am of small frame and I am a woman. Women have a lower peak bone mass compared to men. In the diet analysis my calcium levels and vitamin D levels were low which also heightened my risk for osteoporosis. Lastly my low protein intake can also put me at more of a risk. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, and only consume small amounts of caffeine. A few lifestyle changes that I make will lower my risk for osteoporosis. If I get an adequate amount of calcium, vitamin D, and do muscle exercises regularly my risk for osteoporosis can decrease
