To start off this essay I will first talk about is the Mid-Atlantic, this part of the United States is consumed of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia. This region is also known as “ the typically American “. Some of the settlers that came to the Mid-Atlantic were the dutch, swedes, English Catholics, and her quakers. This quote I found showed the types of people that first settled into this particular region “ While early settlers were mostly farmers, traders, and fishermen, the Mid-Atlantic states provided the young United States with heavy industry and served as the "melting pot" of new immigrants from Europe. The last one 1 believe is very secluded and independent while the other two involve everybody and the way they make there money does not depend on 1 item but rather on a group of people coming together and selling their things to help each other out.
